MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING

TACCMA requires 10 hours per year of volunteering to be a “Member in Good Standing”. – “MIGS”

Earning hours:

  • Agility trials, every class worked = 1 hour.
  • Key agility trial positions earn 6 MIGS hours per day.
  • One ring trials: For every FULL hour you are at Setup or Takedown, you get 1 worker hour, a BONUS hour is awarded if helping for the entire Setup or Takedown.
  • Two ring trials: For every FULL hour you are at Setup or Takedown, you get 1 worker hour, a BONUS of 2 hours is awarded if helping for the entire Setup or Takedown.
  • Key Obedience trial positions earn 6 MIGS hours per day.
  • Obedience trial, every class worked = 1 hour.
  • Obedience trial: For every FULL hour you are at Setup or Takedown, you get 1 worker hour, a BONUS hour is awarded if helping for the entire Setup or Takedown.
  • Each meeting you attend = 2 hours
  • Each time a provisional member attends a meeting, or works a trial, their sponsors receive 50% bonus hours (provisional works 4 hours at a trial, sponsors each get 2 hours added to their yearly totals)
  • Club chair positions earn 6 MIGS hour per year. Anytime spent beyond the 6 hours needs to be recorded with the MIGS record keeping.
MIGS Benefits:
TACCMA annual holiday banquet is free for all MIGS. Guests of members are welcome to attend for the cost of their meal.
MIGS cash in their yearly hours at year end and choose from one of the Gift

(Hours turned in at year end need to be in multiples of $5. The minimum is $10 and is capped at $75 per year. Any hours above 75 can turned in the following year, assuming the member has retained their MIGS status.)
